We will visit the Archaeological Complex of Tipón, of Inca architecture, the citadel of Pikillacta of pre-Inca Wari architecture, and Andahuaylillas beautiful Chapel of Colonial architecture, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America”; without forgetting the tasty gastronomy along the route.

We start our pick up from your hotels between 08:30 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. To then go to the southwest of the city of Cusco where we will visit TIPON, an archaeological center corresponding to the Inca period, in which you can see an exceptional irrigation system with vertical and horizontal irrigation channels on stepped terraces, the water flows from the subsoil to a source of which is distributed through the aforementioned channels. It was an important agricultural production center.

Then we will go to PIKILLACTA. It is currently known as one of the most famous and best preserved cities of the pre-Inca period in Peru and has an area of approximately 50 hectares. The word PIKILLACTA comes from two Quechua words PIKI (flea or small) LLACTA (town) and its translation could be Pueblo de Pulgas or Pueblo Pequeño. In Pikillacta we can appreciate stone walls of pre-Inca origin and one of the most important cities of the Wari culture.

Finally we will know ANDAHUAYLILLAS that is part of the Route of the America due to its beautiful woodwork, beautiful paintings and colonial decorations.

Finally we return to the city of Cusco where our tour ends at 1:00 p.m. Approximately, thus culminating this tour to the South Valley of Cusco.
