When you arrive in Cusco, we can pick you up in your hotel or from the airport. After relaxing for a couple of hours into your hotel,

We will pick you up at your hotel to start your walking tour at the Cusco's main square: the Plaza de Armas. Our guide will explain the history of the main square and then you will conutinue to the traditional Market of San Pedro. At this market, there are many vendors who sell a variety of foods and goods. You will see meat stands with pork, beef, chicken, guinea pig, and alpaca. Continuing down the center aisle, you will find the sweet smell of fruit which is imported from the jungle. Then you will see the lunch stands on one side and cheese, bread, and vegetables on the other.

The small stair case leads down to the lower more open level. Here you will find the breakfast stands and just behind them some vendors who prepare ceviche, fresh milk, and chicha (a local juice or fermented beer made from corn or quinoa). Try it!

After visiting the this traditional market, we will walk through Avenida el Sol to reach Qoricancha. Qoricancha is the Sun Temple and here you can witness some of the most impressive Incan architecture. This temple is also rich in history and is the first place where the famous IntiRaymi celebration started.

This tour continues walking through Inti k'illu or the Sun street and we will visit the 12 sided stone and the puma. Here we will learn about the innovative Incan arcitecture. After 2 hours full of history and entertainment, you will have the chance to take a break for lunch.

After lunch, our guide will take you to the Cathedral. At the Cathedral, you can listen to an audio tour and explore the Cathedral on your own.
