Nazca Lines

An unforgettable trip that you will enjoy, visited the most remarkable of the Peruvian capital Lima, the mysterious Nazca Lines, the Ballestas islands and Paracas National Reserve, spending the nightin Pisco city.

The Nazca people left behind one of the most astonishing legacies of the old cultures of Peru - the Nazca Lines. An elevated plateau called the Nazca Pampa is covered by these mysterious markings. From the air we can wonder at a multitude of long straight lines, geometric shapes and outlines of animals and birds that have been marked into the dry, stony ground.

Most markings were made by removing the top layer of dark stones from the ground. The longest straight lines run for several kilometers while most of the animal drawings are around 100 - 200 meters across. Why these designs were made is an enduring mystery, particularly since they can only be seen properly from the air.

Itinerary

Day 01: Lima - Nazca

Transfer to bus station, departure to Nazca city by Royal Class bus, we’ll arrive to Nazca at 13:30 approximately transfer to your hotel, overnight in Nazca.

Day 02: Nazca - Pisco.

Early, in the morning transfer to aerodromo to begin our over fly to Nazca lines, approximately during 35 minutes, return to Nazca city, lunch and transfer to the bus station to Pisco trip, arriving at Pisco after 4 hours transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Pisco.

Day 03: Pisco.

After breakfast, about 7:30 am. transfer to the port to sail on the Pacific Ocean in direction to Ballestas Islands, we see marine wolves, Humboldt pinguinos, between many other species of birds, after 3 hours we returned to the port to continue trip by bus to Paracas National Reserve, Julio C. Tello museum, Lagunillas beach, etc.

Day 04: Pisco - Lima

Breakfast, transfer to bus station and come back to Lima city.
