The Inka Jungle tour is 4 days that combines downhill mountain biking and trekking through the jungle to MachuPicchu. This tour is an alternative to the Inca Trail. This adventure is original and exclusive because it follows paths only recently discovered. This tour is suitable for anyone with a sense of adventure and curiosity.

Day 1: Cusco – Santa Maria
The first day, we will pick you up from your hotels and drive through the Sacred Valley to the Malaga High Pass. From this pass, we will have a safety briefing and begin on mountain bikes down to the jungle. After approximately 4 hours of riding, we will arrive at the jungle village Santa Maria (1,500m/4,950ft) where we will camp for the night.
Day 2: Santa Maria – Santa Teresa
We will start hiking early in the morning through the jungle highland. On our hike, we will be able to observe beautiful landscapes, meet local people, and learn about native plants and animals. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Santa Teresa where we will camp for the night.
Day 3: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes
We will walk four to six hours to catch our train to Aguas Calientes. In Aguas Calientes, we will check into a hotel where you can take a hot shower and then we will get some dinner.
Day 4: Aguas Calientes – MachuPicchu – Cusco
We will wake up early to walk to MachuPicchu. Your tour guide will give you a walking tour of MachuPicchu for approximately 2 hours. You will then have free tim to explore this mysterious city by yourselve. If you still have energy and a ticket booked in advance, you can climb Huayna Picchu (2,720m/8,923ft). It takes 45 minutes to reach the top of Huayna Picchu.
Once you have completed exploring MachuPicchu, you will meet your guide in Aguas Calientes for lunch (this lunch not included in the cost of the trek) and to receive your train tickets back to Cusco. The price of the train included in all tours is the Cerrojo backpacker (to Ollanta). Once you arrive in Ollanta, a bus will take you back to Cusco.
